A landmark release for alcohol-free wine. Created in collaboration between Château Sigalas Rabaud, Premier Grand Cru Classé de Sauternes, and Moderato, this is the world's first dealcoholised wine produced by a Sauternes Premier Grand Cru Classé.

Made from 100% Sémillon, the grapes are hand-harvested through successive passes of the vineyard, selecting fruit affected by noble rot – following the same meticulous approach used for the Château's Grand Vin. The wine is traditionally vinified and aged for six months in barrel, before being gently dealcoholised at low temperature by Moderato at Le Chai Sobre. Never before has such incredible craft & winemaking been seen for a 0% wine.

Importantly, these weren't grapes simply sourced from a famous estate. The selected barrels were originally destined to form part of Château Sigalas Rabaud's Grand Vin – bringing genuine fine-wine pedigree into the alcohol-free category. The result? Truly astonishing.

Tasting Notes:

Rich and beautifully textured, with ripe pear, apricot and citrus alongside white flowers, honey and subtle toasted notes. Natural sweetness is balanced by bright acidity and freshness, with the 'noble rot' (the kind we love in winemaking) adding delicious complexity and a long, layered finish...that lingers lusciously.

Pairing Suggestions:

Foie gras, blue cheese, fruit-based desserts, or simply enjoyed lightly chilled after dinner.

Why We Love It:

This feels like a real moment for alcohol-free wine. A classified Bordeaux estate taking the category seriously, using exceptional fruit, traditional winemaking and barrels originally destined for its Grand Vin.

Only around 6,000 bottles were produced in the first 2024 vintage release, making this a genuinely special addition to our collection.
