Red Wine, Reimagined. Edition Lamothe marks a clear commitment—and the beginning of a new era in alcohol-free wine.

With this project, a long-held ambition of Manufaktur Jörg Geiger becomes reality: to work with its own vineyards in the renowned Bordeaux region and reimagine one of the world’s most traditional wine landscapes through a new lens.

Predominantly planted with Cabernet Sauvignon and Merlot, the vineyards of Edition Lamothe produce wines of remarkable density and expression—an essential foundation for de-alcoholisation. Thanks to old vines with naturally low yields, combined with traditional vinification methods, these wines retain structure, depth, and character even after the alcohol is gently removed. Here, the power of French terroir meets Swabian ingenuity.

Using precision, patience, and a refined vacuum distillation process, the wines are de-alcoholised step by step at low temperatures, preserving fruit, texture, and complexity - then expertly infused with organically foraged local German fruits, berries, herbs and spices.

The result is not a compromise, but a redefinition: an alcohol-free wine that delivers harmony, elegance, and unmistakable varietal character....in its own unique way, which has found its home in many of Europe's top fine dining venues.

With Edition Lamothe, Jörg Geiger and his team focus on true craftsmanship—bridging tradition and innovation, vineyard and vision. It is a confident statement of intent: alcohol-free wine, rooted in terroir, made without shortcuts.

A clear commitment. A new benchmark.
